There are some good versions set to music too. It's the kind of thing you'd expect to happen in this country, not somewhere like Montreal where I thought they were used to snow in the winter!

The newspaper website (from where this originally came) I think mentioned ice as well as snow - I think you'd need snow chains, not just winter tyres, if there was sheet ice under it?

Ordinarily there would be. Don't know what they do in the snow. I've never been there in winter. I bet you're not allowed to cycle in the underground city, if that's even practical!

The Montreal city authorities can't have the same jobsworth blame-avoiding attitude to gritting that British authorities do; here they'll be out with the gritters at the first sniff of cold temperatures.
