ID this gear block, please?

We have an unusual freewheel (?) in. Can anyone ID the fitting, and appropriate tool for removal, please? The two-pin’ recesses are about 40mm apart, there appears to be a thread below the recesses.

I don't know but 5 speed Regina was a thing very similar if not that actually.

Top picture appears to have engraved writing on the smallest sprocket.

Is it my imagination or does it say MAILLARD?

Try looking at it with a bright torch lit from the side to bring out shadows

Good catch - the writing was not visible in the gloom of t’dark satanic workshop. Certainly looks like Maillard. I will investigate further!

Yeah, from t’Interwebs it seems as if I have a Maillard Atom 5 speed. Apparently if you do not have the 35mm two pin tool, it’s a piece of metal in the vice, fit the notches to it and haul away. The threads go all the way to the base of the freewheel.
