I suspect you may be mighty peeved off then looking at the news Ian. I've enever heard of an "Emergency Met Office warning" before.
Besides, it will make the rest of us look a bit better on cyclogs if you have a few days off.

Bikes rule, especially MTB's in silly weather.........got to love 'em......................

Snow claimed 3 full commutes last year, 102 sodding lost miles....need a mtb with studdies :biggrin:

I've ridden to work every day over Cristmas but today beat me completely - 6+ inches overnight and hadn't stopped coming down by the time I closed the curtains again this evening.

no sign of a gritter.
