This whole thread can be summed up really easily.

Self righteous cyclist is astonished by a motorist that does not stop at a zebra whilst showing a complete disregard to a sign meant for his own mode of transport in his avatar.

Even the pedestrian seemed to consider this a non incident.

I assume you think every cyclist who uses a camera when cycling is "Self righteous" Explain how you think I was self righteous in this video. did you read the topic title? It included the line "Am I missing something" in layman's terms I was asking if the driver did anything illegal that I may not have been aware of.

To the best of my knowledge, at the time, the driver should have stopped, but after reading some comments on here I see he did not have to stop. This is one reason why I frequent this forum. To gain knowledge from others. The conversation I had with the lady crossing? I said he SHOULD have stopped, Not he must have stopped. It's not a play on words. I think he should have stopped!
Feel free to have and voice your own opinions of myself, however I believe you are in the small minority of cyclists whom think that every camera wearing cyclist is "Self righteous" I am by far perfect, in fact I posted a video on this forum of a mistake I made while cycling down on regent street London, just a few weeks ago. Any Self righteous person would not post their known mistakes.

Oh it was you?

For the record, your reaction in the video did seem over the top to me, but as you quite rightly say, you came on here asking if you had misread the situation. So, far from being like "other self righteous" riders, you've displayed maturity in asking the question and accepting the answer.

It is rare to see/hear someone admit they nay have over-reacted to a situation.
At the end of the day the ped was too far from the crossing. I don't think I'd have stopped if I was the porker driver. May have slowed down to make sure, but......
