They do have bike racks but out the front (I work in a supermarket) and I don't trust the general public with my bike (I've seen the sorts that hang around outside) if there was somewhere slightly more secure then I would not hesitate riding in I will have a word with HR and see what they say.

To make my day worse the spotty youth with BO I was sat behind on the bus turns out works here and is sat on the till in front of me
You're very unfortunate. Both of our local supermarkets have much better bike parking for the staff than for the customers! Not that it's the customers who are keeping the place in business of course

You need to be on 1st name terms with the goods-in boss. Problem solved. It's what I did when I worked in supermarkets as a 16 year old. I really hated my manager. Really hated him. Really really. In-fact more so then anyone I've met ever since. Including my daughters BF..

When I worked in a supermarket we used to have to carry our bikes up 5 flights of stairs to keep them safe the management didn't mind

When I worked in a Supermarket I had to carry my bike up twenty flights of stairs and I had to get up half an hour before I went to bed!

The place where I work has a great storage area for our bikes . But in recent months bikes have been stolen , so after much persuasion we now have a security gate on the bike parking area . So far no bikes have been stolen .

Where I work now we have a section under the pallet racking to store the bikes in there's room for about 7 bikes

I keep mine in the cleaners cupboard. Only problem is that the guy is a knob jockey and keeps using my bike for drying cloths and hanging buckets on.

You should protect you bike from the rigors of the winter weather. I, in my guise as a cycling guru, suggest grease to protect the frame.
