I looked into producing a flat pack chainsaw log saw horse.
I can make the entire thing out of 12 x 1.2m lengths of predrilled interchangable timber.
Everyone with a wood burning stove and a chaninsaw needs one.

But who will do the selling ?

Bear in mind what people class as an 'overnight success' usually takes about 10 years.

It doesn't even have to be a gadget, it could be a music festival, or a service to other businesses.

Marketing to the general public costs huge bucks so servicing industry by selective targetting is a lot more cost effective than big ad campaigns.

Perhaps I should have bought that one, as cost came to more than that amount before labour

However my one is an industrial version of a very similar design, bigger and stronger, and all timber lenghts are the same, which means mass production and assembly would be easier

I don't think there are enough Guardian reading, chainsaw using, stove owners in Islington to qualify.
