.... What would you say?
I have been vaguely thinking about if I had to leave the country, where would I go?
Of course, there are all the really obvious options, France, Spain, Italy, Greece, North America, Australia, etc etc, but I don't want to be another one of the sheeple.
I always liked visiting Poland, but it would be a true jaw cracker of a language to master, as would, I imagine other Eastern European and Balkan countries be. So, what about Germany, after all, I did do German at School. Hmmm, putting aside their horrific recent past, maybe.
Ok, so what about Denmark? It looks good, people speak English and there is a good cycle infrastructure in place...... But a bit like Belgium and the Netherlands, isn't it as flat as a pancake and as dull as ditchwater?
Right, so Sweden..... oh hold on, they used to give little disabled kiddies the snip didn't they? I could never associate with a society that did that!
Norway.... Well, it sounds good, Dayvo lives there, but, no, hold on, don't they still kill Whales, and anyway, isn't it something like £10 a pint or similar?
Finland? I know sod all about the place except for that the language is a jaw cracker again and sounds like something from Japan (Suomi).... Ummmm... There is a member on here from there though, @Jussi Halonen.
Any suggestions? I'm just curious.
