I have also vaguely considered Greenland, but who the heck moves there unless you want to be a Fisherman or a miner..... Fishing and mining using another jawbreaker of a language too?
Besides, like Iceland, they don't have any trains IIRC

They used to have a narrow gauge railway and the one remaining locomotive is on a plinth by the docks in Reyjavik.

I think I would either move to Strobl on Lake Wolfgang, in Austria or Bellinzona, Switzerland.

Probably Bellinzona, as it has excellent train connections to the rest of Europe. It has the efficiency of the Swiss, with the climate and cuisine of Italy. Then I could still go on holiday to Strobl.

Spain is nice. Satna Ponsa is where I did mine and it was lush. I would go back again.
Speed limits are nice a slow which is a plus

I'm with canada. British Columbia to be exact. Anywhere would be nice but Banff for me, Jasper for the wife (who am I kidding I'd live in either) but I could have simply stopped in Tofino for the rest of my days and never left the place, EVER.

I have never been out of the US so I really don't know where I would like best. From reading and talking to people from other places it is still hard to determine. I am more of a small town type person and don't know how I would do in a city environment. I have been to cities and had a great time but that was only for like a week or so at most. Not sure if I could adjust to that or not. If I was going to try though, if I were to make a change that huge it would be somewhere like Chelsea UK, but unless I hit the lottery I don't think Chelsea is going to happen..;)

At the stage I am in life I think I would be more inclined to go for something a little more remote however. I think the UK is a beautiful country from the pictures and videos I have seen. Scotland is very nice looking. A lot of Western Europe looks appealing. I think I would like Australia too, I think the climate there would suite me well.

I sort of like where I live now but a lot of times wish I was in a more remote location away from neighbors and barking dogs and such. I am seriously considering a short move to the country around here. I would need to travel more in order to know where I would really like to live the best. Travel is something I wish I had done more of up to now but I may get around to it one of these days.

Tofino is great if you like fishing, but don't you think it might be a bit too quiet? I think I would prefer Vancouver. Lovely people.

You can ski in the morning and be on the beach in the afternoon. Great outdoor lifestyle and lovely people.
you can do the same in the Lebanon. A country with culture, great towns, and wonderful food.
