If you are involved in a cycling accident with car / lorry and it was not your fault and you are injured or your bike is damaged what are the details that that you need to have to make a claim for compensation

i hope it never happens to me

Registration number of the vehicle.
Make / model / Colour too if you can.
Name & address of the driver
Name & address of any witness
