Reports say cars were queuing at 0630.
By 0800 there were a reputed 1000 people queuing.
I cannot stand IKEA at the best of times. This would be my worst nightmare

Was Charon the ferryman escorting his customers across the Styx to enter as usual?

They may be opening places. You are not obliged to go. Thats how I look at it. I am hoping this virus will keep me out of IKEA for at least the next 3 years.

It got me out of washing up for 3 days because I saw Jannie touch the washing up brush. 😊
Some ( most ) sheeple have no sense , I use my local shops for stuff I NEED , ripped an old shed apart and built a great chill out area , I'm upcyclycling most of my stuff and putting to good use .
Nice touch with the washing up too

It's the mentality of going anywhere which is opening for the first time, you know it's going to be rammed. The IKEA at Warrington is rammed every Sunday but people happy to queue. Nuts.

Blimey! Are people desperate for stuff or do they just really, really love shopping?
I noticed that Matalan was open on our local retail park this morning. No queue though.

I think this is the one where my son works, he's on their cleaning team, I'll ask him what it was like next time I speak to him. At least its reopened, they've closed the Coventry store.
