But at least at UK schools we don’t have to put the kids through drills about what to do when a shooter gets into school though do we due to the regularity of school shootings

FYI, our daughters rural Worcestershire high school had a drill for such an eventuality just two weeks ago. Why they do that is anyone's guess, but they do.

Never ever heard of that, a risk assessment would quickly tell anyone that such a thing is not required in the UK
