Cds in my house are alphabetical and then chronologicalorder when there are multipull albums by 1 artist/band, compilations go in their own section, again alphabetical and again chronological when more than one release by a certain label.
There are gaps after G, O and S for new additions so i don't have to move the whole lot when adding new cds.

Makes finding cds easier, although my mates cds/albums go by artist association, i.e Hawkwind and Motorhead/Lemmy are side by side

Never put CDs on nowadays... if I want music it's all on the phone or backed up on the laptop.

All my collection is now on Google Play for on the go/work or on NAS drive for listening at home.
