depending on the type of saddle you ride, you're probably impotent anyway.

Given the cc child production line of late, I would have to say the opposite is true! Mind you, do recumbenteers count? They do it all lying down anyway. ;)

Afterwards didn't hurt.

During bloody well did.

Something got snipped, my knee went shooting up, clouting the instrument tray and scaring the nurse as the doctor said 'oh, usually people aren't sensitive there, that doesn't usually hurt'. Cue more anaesthetic.

) Still worth doing though.

For me it was 3 weeks before I decided to get back on the saddle. Nothing to it really although the 2 bricks are the worst bit and as for the first pee afterwards

Is there any loss in gratification?

It was 16 years ago, but I was fine after two or three days.

same here too - no side effects, just lots of TLC :-))
The scar is still just about visible - I recommend regular shaving - use one of those modern shavers with four blades, not the cut-throat type ....

A common misconception () about vasectomies... no affect on one's 'performance' whatsoever. AND you get the instruction to 'bash one off' as much as possible in the ensuing week... to clear the pipes, as it were.

I've told the story before on here, but the nurse at the op (a bit unprofessionally, but very nicely) complimented me on my cyclist's legs.
