I was told on the last day that we were closed until the 8th. No proper notification, just another 4 days of holiday entitlement wiped out.
A couple of us are going in Thursday for two days just to get some time back.

Yes, It was dead easy being stabbed in the hand, and the surgeries and titanium hardware as a result of being assaulted protecting a lollipop lady from a kicking were an absolute breeze.

Anyone please to be back to work today? I for one am. Sick of travelling and visiting family! I can now just sit alone, in my office, and watch TV to my hearts content.

Was there, Monday - Friday last week (13 hours; Tuesday & Friday)
Weekend off (rostered)
Back in for 'late turns' yesterday - Friday

Constantly 70+ patients in department, some having been there 15+ hours

I went back new years day and tbh, i was quite ok with it. I'd been off since about the 22nd December and while the first two days off were extremely busy, annoyingly so, the rest of the time off was relaxed and i thoroughly enjoyed it. BUT, Saturday or Sunday, i started to get edgy, restless....i started getting a bit stir crazy. My wife recognised it instantly...i always get edgy if i relax too long.

I for once am very happy being back in work, as our 2 year old has just hit the terrible two's, but to make matters worse she is into everything, you name it cant take your eyes of her for a second. which as you can imagine has made Xmas and New Year not only busy but highly stressful for me and the wife, doesn't help that she has also had broken sleep for the last 6 weeks best part was getting on the bike this morning!
