Pah. So much for the predicted strong winds. Nowhere near as strong as they said it would be down here in the South East.

40+mph winds in the morning and calms down later, but all in all it looks like the car for me!

Ruddy lethal on my way home this morning after nights , i was taking the car anyway as we have carpet fitters just turned up after i got just over 4 hours kip so needed to be in bed asap ( cash from my RTC ) .
My commute is through country lanes that are open to all the weather and the wind was blowing the car about a bit so i was glad i wasnt being brave for the sake of it .

I wouldn't risk it out in the country glad you made it in one piece, i myself am in London and was listening to it most of the night and it was pretty tasty this morning as well. as much as it pains me to drive, the wife for the first time ever said please drive so i did!

my route even though in London is pretty open and there are bits along Stratford that the side winds are farking lethal and that's without a really strong wind.

Still very gusty here in SW London. I was going to walk across Putney Bridge to get lunch. Almost blown over just leaving the building to went round the corner only which was bad enough!!
