No matter how hard I try to dominate the lane on this rbt, some idiots will never learn

Personally I would peel into the middle lane on the 1st roundabout going under the flyover and then stick to the left lane for the stretch afterwards. Then I would try to slot into a gap and change lanes just before the 2nd roundabout (loads of shoulder checks/signals to make your intentions clear).
I know that the stretch after the 1st roundabout says it is for left only so your line is correct, but it is a fair distance before the 2nd roundabout and with the difference in speed I would rather not be undertaken there.
What else do you expect from an idiot in a 4x4.....

Whilst the driver was a w@nker, I did note that when changing lanes you don't appear to look round or over your shoulder. It's not called a lifesaver glance for nothing...
These are exactly the sort of roads I try to avoid. I think your positioning and manouvering were fine but it's obvious that even with good riding one has to keep up a fair old lick to stand any chance at all here.
These are junctions designed solely for the car and lorry and designed to keep them moving as quickly as possible. At this they are very effective and as long as they are operating within their design capacity they do keep cars moving quickly. I don't think drivers are expecting to see cyclists here but that does not excuse the behaviour of this greasy penis in any way.
I'd like to see junctions like this completely re-designed with a safe and practical route round for cycles.
There is a cycle path running round the side of the rbt. But as I've mentioned in a previous video this takes twice the time and involves crossing fast sliproads.
I ended up close passing a cyclist the other day, I had room to pass but the car coming in the opposite direction decided to move over so his tyres were running the centre lines on the road, the only thing I could do is move over a smidge so the cyclist still had room. if i'd have slammed on it would have caused chaos,...
it's a bit crap seeing a cyclist shaking his head at you in the rear view mirror. I was gonna stop and talk to the cyclist but there was too much traffic
