Okay, here’s photographs

Brought back many years ago, when my wife (then g/f) went to see a friend who lived outside Brisbane
The ’Sombrero’ (as standard, it’s a high crown - like a Bowler - & a flat brim)
‘Work/dog-walking’
Reversible (red)
The ‘day to day’ choice
Generally worn with a thin down jacket (Jack Wolfskin?)
For trips (missionary work?) outside Yorkshire
Part of a ‘Thankyou’ package for backmarking a trail marathon from the owner of the name on the hat
She nurse trained with my wife, in very late 80s/early 90s
And, my only flat-cap, although with my father-in-law passing away, more may come my way?

There’s also a ‘hi-viz’ woolly-hat (Ron Hill, that l wore for running) in the back of the Kodiaq, with a ‘hi-viz’ coat for emergencies
