Put them into bottles of vodka and let them impart their hotness to the alcohol over a few months. Fantastic sensation dissonance when served chilled in iced glasses.

I don't usually drink Vodka, but that sounds quite tempting!

Is it worth buying half decent vodka or (like when making sloe gin) does one just go for the cheapest stuff possible?

A friend bought that naga chilli vodka a few months ago. I like hot stuff but that is almost too much, a shot glass is still very much evident an hour later.

As for hot sauces, I've recently found a wasabi sauce. A bit nuclear-green on the visuals and not exactly the hottest thing ever, but the horse radishy spice is a bit different to the usual chilli flavour.

How much does it cost to Oldham?
Having worked my way through the Plaza Cafe's menu in Manchester, nothing on offer in a bottle can ever match what Charlie served up.

Supermarket own brand or cheaper is perfectly fine. The chilli burns off the opposition on the fine nuances of taste front.

Have you tried wasabi coated peanuts, they're awesome but the last box I had must have been made on a friday afternoon; every nut had enough wasabi on it to liquify my sinuses.

Anyone able to help me find a chilli sauce I used to buy in Tesco but which disappeared from their shelves? I cannot remember the name of it at all so cannot search for it elsewhere.

It was a squeezy bottle with a twist nozzle on the top, it was quite a large bottle (maybe 500ml), and I am pretty sure it had some "eastern" writing on the label. There were chilli and chilli and garlic options.

Any help greatly appreciated. I have tried loads of others but cannot find anything to match the taste of this one.

Yes, and you can get other stuff wasabi-coated, like peas. The M&S ones are the best I've found, generally nice and strong with the occasional ear-popper.

I bought some sauce for a Christmas present for a friend - I bought myself some of the 3% stuff but for him I bought White Habanero 23%!!!:hyper: I've no idea what it tastes like - the guy didn't have them on the main bit of the stall - he only got it out when I mentioned buying for a friend who likes really hot stuff!
