Well as it seems loads of other CC'ers have been there too, so here are my pictures from Bryce Canyon. Anyone who visits the grand canyon should take a day to visit Bryce, IMO it's better.

Also one from Sequoia National Park, not the greatest photo but the scale of the tree are huge.

And finally two from Kenya, one with a lion, one with sunbeams

Now if you had taken that with the moon seen through the tree it would have been a cracker and would have deserved a "like". I am astounded by the quality of some of these photos. Try and get recent ones from where you live as well, now there's a challenge, also would be really interested in what camera was used.

Can't get enough of this avenue of trees. This pic View attachment 18382 taken on a iridescent day last Nov:-
reminded me of some others I took...I rather like trees as subjects and literally have thousands of photos of them.
Anyhow I will try my hardest not to post too many more of my trees - I like seeing other peoples trees as well.^_^

Finland - Spetember 2011.
there is something magical about silver birch trees in scandinavia that just does not happen the same in the UK

You are quite right to criticise my picture and I welcome it. It was a kind of experiment and I posted it in the same spirit because it was different to the norm and I wanted to see the reaction it got. I do have more 'usual' pictures of trees altho' not being a true photographer many most nearly all on here are far better. I don't mind if few people like it, that is a kind of reaction is it not? I still like it because it reminds me of a time and a place.
