Hi There,
To all the ecobezhigs, carbon neutral and fitness peddler or paddler.
Thought some of you guys may like to see a folding bike and sea kayak trailer combination. length is about 23 feet.

The trailer is made from stainless steel tube hand rail from a double decker bus. Padded platform from a small deck chair and 20" wheel from a small bike total cost £6. The tow hitch is a staggered hook that is easy to disconnect by rotating an eye up and over the hook that is also stainless steel.
Have sold about 30 so far but not all stainless steel.
Normally I tow the kayak through my town or even London to the water. I can dismantle the trailer and stow in the kayak along with the seat and post in seconds. the wheels however have to go on the front deck. the bike folds and is secured to the rear deck behind the cockpit.
I have towed it through Canterbury to the River Stour then paddled to Sandwhich. Sunbathed on the beach for 3 hours then paddled trough bad weather to Margate Beach and camped the night on the beach. Next morning I paddled toward Whitstable but in bad weather and blistered hands so I gave up and towed it 18 miles from Birchington to the village of Chartham via 2 pubs. Total distance about 40 miles.
Wheels are normally BMX with 14mm stunt axles.
I made 3 telescopic aluminum trailers last year that could carry normal shopping or a 18 ft canoe.
