Here it is, the latest iteration of the worst idea ever, only this time they've set their sights high and are marketing it to more than mere cyclists:

Obviously it's bobbins for all purposes, but I can sort of see why peope keep thinking cyclists might want to buy indicator devices.

But why on earth would anyone think you'd need one for "hiking, camping and travelling"?

Group walks where language may be a barrier, or it may be hard to hear the person leading the walk.

Indicators for cyclists are one of those perennial ideas that come along every few years, and is about as welcome (and useful) as Chilli Coke.
I can cope with drivers who don't have one hand on the wheel. I'd like it if they'd occasionally have one eye on the road!
