Down the pub last night they got on the subject of a tv program about a fatal cycle tipper truck collision in London involving the emergency services attempts to save a cyclist hit by the truck. They couldn't remember the title of the program but thought it was something like the first 60 seconds or similar. Did any of you see the program?

Yes, it was a 3 part series called 60 minutes to save a life.

The work of the air ambulance crew was amazing and makes you thankful that we have such advances available in the UK.

Anyone else see this, with the poor lass on the bike, in London?

What did seem odd, was that even though they showed the Thoracotomy , they appeared to pixellate her nipples
Most odd

Plus the young lad, who was the victim of a 'knock-down' in (what appears to be) Featherstone

I know the A&E Consultant who was in that case-history (Jon Thornley), as he was one of our Consultants, before he moved to Leeds

Also, the Air Ambulance Doctor (Andy Pountney; shaven head, glasses) is now one of our Consultants
