Hi all , i need a little info if anyone can help. I have purchased a Dawes Horizon twin in mint condition, ( i think i got it for song ) and i am trying to find out what year it was made, and what sort of second hand price they fetch. Its purple in colour and has 501 tubing if that is any help.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. Wife and I had a go yesterday, really hard to get coordinated but never laughed so much . More practice needed I think. No date stamps that I can see tho.

That's a beaut! For an accurate date check under the saddle on the plastic moulded base, that should have a manufacturing date stamped into it.

I'll keep an eye out when I'm out and about, a couple on a tandem laughing like drains should be easy to spot ^_^
