Inner tube/ tyre question.

Morning all, I am putting slicks on my old mtb but going down from 26 x 2.2 to 26 x 2.0 tyres. However the tubes coming out which I would like to put back in are for 2.1 - 2.5 width, one is a 2.2 - 2.5 width. The new tyres have a pressure range of 30-70 psi and as this will now be mostly used on road I will be running them near the upper end of that range.

Are there any issues likely to arise?

Well I've just put the tyres on (Schwalbe Kojack 26 x 2.0) They are tight to get on the first I had to use a tyre lever for the last 6 inches, the second I did with hands only. However when going round the wheel pushing the tyre in to make sure I hadn't pinched the tube there were several times when as I did the rim tape was getting lifted at the edge just a mm or so. This did not make me happy and hopefully nothing to worry about. I'd hate to have to sort one of these out by the roadside in the cold, I think my hands would fall off.
