I’ve just bought myself a new Wilier road bike with an 11 speed 105 cassette (11/28T), and the remaining groupset 11 speed Ultegra (50/34T).

I’d like to occasionally interchange the current Shimano wheels with my Fulcrum Racing ones, but the Fulcrum rear wheel has a 10 speed 105 cassette (also 11/28T).

Do you envisage any problems with that setup? Will the chain, shifters and derailleurs be compatible? And I'm guessing I'll have to adjust the limiter screws to prevent the chain falling off the rear cassette?

It won't work because 11 speed shifters won't index with a ten speed cassette. Just replace the cassette on the Fulcrums with an 11 speed.

Ok thanks. I'm guessing the 11 speed cassette will still be compatible on my Fulcrum Racing Quattro wheel?

I think it depends on the year of manufacture - my 2013 Quattros have an 11 sped hub.

I just checked the original wheelset product description and it says:
The 11 Speed version is supplied with a spacer for compatibility with Shimano and SRAM 10 speed Cassettes

Looks good to go.....
