When it comes to rats I wouldn't fancy my chances unarmed. The buggers would just run off and hide. If armed (eg with a spade) then yeah I have a chance, but they are agile things.

My victory in the war against rats came when one stupidly went and hid under a bit of old carpet and I battered it with a spade.
But unarmed? I'm not fancying my chances, they are too nimble.

What is the Big Banana?
Ok I can probably guess what it is. It is a big, 13m long, banana. But why is it so big? And where is it?
