I've only ever seen Desiree and king edwards in this country. And of course jersey or cornwall new potatoes. When I was in NZ they did have a lot more to offer, and they even said on the bag what they are best used for (roasting, mash etc)

Really?

The last two packs we bought from Tesco were Georgina and Electra. Maris Piper has always been fairly commonplace too (and currently available in both Tesco and Sainsburys).
