I was riding along dodging th espeeding lunatics as usual when I saw a police officier with a hairdryer flag down a speeding car. Behind the officier was a group of small kids (around 6-8 years old with a teacher (I assume) all in hi vis jackets.
The peasant driver was escorted by the officers to the group of kids and a conversation ensued.
Now I couldnt hear what was said...but looking at the situation my best guess was that the driver was having to explain to the kids why he was speeding and risking their lives...under the guidence of the officers. he certainly wasnt getting an easy time of it thats for sure!
Assuming that this was in fact the purpose of the exercise i have to say that i think it's better than a simple 3 points and off you go approach. Maybe looking the 7 year old in the eyes might make them think next time their big toe gets twitchy.
