Spotted a chap today, steaming along on his mtb. All fine and normal, except that he was leaning forward and steering with both hands on the sides of the fork crown.....

    Mad! ;)

Now if he was leaning back, that'd be something! ;)

I've done that, relaxed my grip slightly ;) then there was this large buzzing sound where the nobbles on the tyres were rubbing on my knuckles.

You would think he could stop and tighten the handlebars, unless he was late for a date!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw a guy on the Bath/Bristol cycle path absolutely hoooning along with 2 sets of tri bars. He had one set quite upright and narrow, the other set low and striaght. He had his hands through the first set and holding on to the second set. His hands were effectively trapped completely by the top set, he wouldn't have reached his brakes or gears and would have been trapped if he crashed:ohmy:
  6. There's a cheap MTB I see locked to railings near Wednesbury bus station occasionally. The owner has replaced the handlebars with an old car steering wheel. Must be weird to ride, but I've seen it being ridden and he uses it to balance his rucksack on. I hover between impressed and horrified.;)
