I never did get Myself one, but Ms. P just bought me one! At the moment I'm a bit rubbish with it. First post using it.

I didn't get on with it in the end, returning it. I liked it in many ways but I didn't like the way I couldn't work with files easily. I started to find it irritating that simple stuff required a fairly tricky work around.

I can see the point of the thing, but it wasn't working out for me.

Still- it was very easy to wipe the data and return to factory settings, that part of it works very well.

I've got the Google Nexus 7, which I use in preference to the iPad 3. Smaller and lighter and much easier OS to use, IMO.

After an enforced layoff due to illness, I finally got back on my Galaxy Tab this afternoon. I hadn't used it since early August so I expected the battery to be completely flat but to my shock (and delight) it still had 55% charge left in it! That means 6 weeks on standby had drained (at most) 45% of its power. I'm impressed. (That's with Bluetooth and Wireless interfaces turned off.)
