Who gives a crap what phone someone else buys!!

I do, because every time there's an update for iPhones they stop working on our wireless network. No other device is consistently as troublesome as the iPhone.

I phone 6 in the USA, starting at $199.

Same item in Hong Kong (where there is no VAT) $7330 (Hong Kong Dollars, about 700 pounds)

Actually today the HK$ is 12.643 to the pound so that makes the phone about 579 pounds.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How is it ?
I am considering getting one of those as my very basic "smart" phone screen is too small for my podgy fingers even with big buttons app and the memory sucks,i cant have more than the basic stuff or the phone does not receive calls or texts .

Get one, I have had mine a while now (Moto G 16gb 3g version) and I love it. Cost me £125 + £1.99 to unlock it, fantastic battery life, very fast and perfect form factor for me

My £99 pay as you go Moto G does the same job, very well..

Me too. I love technology and am usually an early adopter, but couldn't see any point in anything more expensive. Even the newer 4G version is a bargain. The prices of the iphone 6 even on a contract are nuts, as are the purchasers who can't wait until the price drops in a few months.

Bit OT can anyone recommend an phone for someone thats hard of hearing ? SWMBO needs a hearing aid so cant hear here phone most of the time unless its next to her .Only needs phone, txt and cheap camera so it does not need to be a smartphone although she likes a touch screen for typing rather than old keys .
PAYG on EE is her preferred network ( cant get her to budge on that )

If you want an Apple, Android or Windows Phone..
Buy what you want, its your call..
I've had the three and TBH I just preferred the bigger Samsung screens (oh and the Note I had never bent)
I prefer android as when I build an app I don't have to jump through Apple's hoops to use it on my phone.

Ok i just bought a moto with my 10 year service voucher , excellent for th emoney and my needs , also seems that it can be set very loud so looks like swmbo wants one as well.
