Iphone problem logging in to CC

I normally use an iPad or MacBook on CC but decided to get my phone on it as well.
The phone is an iPhone8+ and already has CC on it and I can get on the old part 1 but it will not transfer to the current part 2.
I accept all the usual gubbins but it refuses to move off on to the current usage.
Any suggestions welcome.

No idea but it looks like CC is on two parts with part one being the original and the current is part two.
When I go into Mundane news it ends in 2016. Nothing beyond that.
The topic on Manchester airport is up to date tho’.
The whole thing is very confused and I may just dump it from my phone and try downloading again.
I try to log in but the system will not allow me to enter a password due to unspecified problems.
I end up going round in circles and it also keeps asking for my assent.

Just use the browser on the phone and it loads like any other web site. Are you using an app instead?

I would if I could but I think I will just dump CC from my phone and start again as it seems to be corrupted somehow.

Does not seem to.
I notice a reference in one post that there was a new version of CC in November 2016.
I seem to be on both versions a bit mixed up as it has been on my phone but unused for years now.
Best to just dump it and start again I think.

Clear the cookies and cache first. Then dump if the clear doesn't work.

Click on Accept, then log in.

It will still not let me log in due to unspecified problems.
I give up now and will try again tomorrow.

Classic, remember when some of the longer running threads were split by @Shaun?
I think another one that got split was the tree word game, or maybe the tell a lie?
Few years ago now, the link to the following posts (second thread, if you like) has been left before the split.
I can see it from @oldwheels screen shot.
@oldwheels try clearing your history and cookies from your phone's browser (safari?), then log out of CC and log back in, let me know if this works.
