The current state of journalism does seem to be regurgitating debates from reddit or mumsnet and somehow making it newsworthy.You can tell it that you want to register later and it will then expand to tell you about how the journalist was asked for a piece to fill up the paper / website and went onto quora to find something vaguely interesting to turn into an article.
