Is this in relation to a specific incident or just in general.

I must admit that last time there were bad traffic problems round here I did make a point of having a leisurely ride round all the affected areas.:giggle:

Oi, I had to pick someone up from the airport yesterday and I spent ages watching cyclists cheerfully filtering past gridlocked traffic thinking ''grrrrr.'' I only drive when I have to but so many only drive before they think and then block things up.

When I'm cycling past a traffic jam, I think to myself..
'I wish I was in my truck...... I'd be being paid overtime to sit in that lot!!' :wahhey:

I went down to Brighton with my b-in-law to watch the TdF stage finish there in 1994.

On the way back we got got caught in nearly stationary traffic at roadworks on the M25. We only moved about 100 yards in an hour. I was getting really agitated, whereas b-i-l was singing along to the radio and seemed quite content. He asked me what was up and I ranted about awful the traffic was. He seemed nonplussed and told me that it was often like that!

I couldn't believe that people spend so much time in traffic jams without going mad. Actually, given the number of road rage incidents that we hear about, perhaps congestion-induced madness is on the increase ...

I don't get many traffic jams, and have a few routes I can take. So what, it's a little chillout time in my little tin box (it's red too ).
There's worse things in life than stressing over a couple of minutes a day looking at pretty red lights.

At the moment I can use the time to think of the new bikes I'm getting when I move.

Apart from certain situations (emergencies, very near time deadlines, screaming kids) I don't see why people get so annoyed about normal traffic jams. Okay, so you're not moving at the moment, but you will and in the meantime, you're sat down on a comfy chair, in the dry, listening to your choice of music in a pleasant air conditioned environment and you're not cheeky by jowl with the great unwashed...
Sounds better than public transport to me!
