Buy a good quality supermarket pizza and it'll cost less and probably still taste as good.
If you think it's an ok amount to pay, then you've never had a domino's pizza. If you think £15.99 is a lot for 2 pizzas dont ever go out for a meal then, you'll be fainting when you see how much it costs.
There's your mistake. You don't take Spiderman's advice on pizza. You need to find a chain using the Mario Brothers for marketing.Spiderman

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Shirley?
Well, no. They (like Spiderman) will presumably like New York pizzas, which aren't great. Better than Chicagoan pizzas, but still, not great.Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Shirley?
??? The bit I stick in my mouth - the pizza - better be bloody different. Do you not have a local pizza restaurant that offers food that is significantly better than Pizza Hut or Dominos?A pizza from a delivery chain is a different market with different costs and different supply/demands than a local pizza restaurant. Absolutely no point in comparing them as, apart from the bit you stick in your mouth, everything is different.
Yes but the product dominos et all is selling is not the actual pizza. It's the service of a delivered pizza, fairly quickly, hot, to an exceptonally uniform standard (poor, I know). Marketing sells the idea it's what you want if late home or drunk. The price point is the demand for that need.Well, no. I wasn't disagreeing with you on the points between the two that are different. I was disagreeing on the points where you thought they were the same. The services are different including the food itself.Yes but the product dominos et all is selling is not the actual pizza. Go find a bunch of people home at 10, hungry and a bit drunk and give them the option of having one delivered or going to a local restaurant and you'll find a strong market for both. Stand outside a local dominos and watch the stream of bikes going in and out between 9 and 12pm compared to your local pizza restaurant and you'll see the demand in action.
Apologies. Yes, I know they're different. But it's not the pizza they're selling, at least not dominos. In fact what they probably work towards is a pizza that works for very hungry or slightly drunk people. What you crave at 10pm is probably different to what you fancy at 8.I wasn't disagreeing with you on the points between the two that are different. I was going to make a joke about them being the same when they leave your body, but with different fibre content, amount of vegetables, different quantities and qualities of fat etc I expect that it's still not the same then. I will not investigate this further.![]()
Yeah, as I said, they are not good pizzas.I wouldnt get one personally because they are too fatty/greasy for me, but everyone is different with their food needs.
I dont think in the grand scheme of things its that much really but what I am surprized about is that someone is very shocked at a very bog standard price. Its like me going into a pub and complaining that a drink of pop is £2-3 or a pint of lager is £3-6.00. Everyone knows how much these things cost unless they have just moved to the U.K or are very young and just started buying things independently.
They are the biggest blandest rip off out there, something like £12 for a pretty minuscule pizza with minimal toppings...and the restaurants are full of children at all hours!Pizza Express. The only really great pizzas out there. Don't mind paying for them. Goes down well with a Peroni beer.
