Last couple of days as I come into Fenchurch Street Station in the City there has been a cyclist waiting to get a train on the main concourse. He has a really nice red Wilier road bike and Fulcrum wheels and Michelin racing tyres. I was trying to get a look at the groupset and chainset today but couldn't make out what it had. The bike was fairly dirty and hadn't been maintained well. It's possibly an Izoard Centaur or similar.
Thing is, the bike and the man didn't match. For all its qualities the bike has platform pedals on it and the man with it was dressed in Civvies (Hoodie, Jeans, trainers). For want of a better description he appeared to be from the wrong side of the tracks - just not the type you would expect to see with this bike.
Am I being overly suspicious? Do I have grounds for bringing this to the attention of the Transport Police?
