Is it possible to run a Q Ring on a single speed ?

Not that I am going to do it but is it possbile ?

I lenght of chain does change so in theory it should be..

You can on a single speed, just use a chain tensioner to take up the slack.

I wouldn't - the risk of the chain jumping off is much increased* ... and as for chain tensioners, don't go near them would be my advice.
