If it's genuine, it should reach £600+ £300 starting bid, £600 reserve if it's genuine would be my guess
Ask if the seller has a receipt and can scan onto ad...if not, avoid

You'd have to see it and assess him. At the moment I'm thinking suspicious. His pride and joy but very few technical details and a feedback of 2 is setting off alarm bells, plus the price. Might be wrong though.

I guess I can stretch the budged a bit... Would have to spend it on fixing a 2nd hand bike anyway so might as well get it all right for once.

You don't necessarily have to fix a second hand bike. There are plenty of lightly ridden bikes out there which had an RRP of £500+ that sell for around £300 if you are lucky. Just be extremely careful buying used, ask to see receipts / proof of ownership, if the seller is evasive, walk away
