on the website it listed at 28 for the ride membership,im toying with the idea of maybe joining the ctc ,is the bc membership included ?just trying to avoid paying for it twice

BC is a completely separate organisation, I've got it for doing TT's in Scotland (ctc doesn't licence for that). The ctc is getting a bit expensive for what I get out of it (3rd party, I hardly ever read the mag and have never used the discount); I think my CTC comes up for renewal, I'll cancel it as the BC covers me for 3rd Party.

Good value for the 3rd party plus you'll get platinum discount on wiggle, 10% off at halfords and few other perks - like priority booking for events like the track world cup that was in glasgow a few months ago

is that only for london based cyclists ?im in glasgow and would this work for quidco
It's been posted on here a few times and people have said that it's fine for anyone to use it (in UK presumably!), although it would be good if someone could confirm. ;) I bought mine with last years code a few months ago and got quidco too. IIRC you find BC on Quidco, go from there, enter the discount code when you pay and it works out pretty cheap.

Can anyone confirm how the 10% Halfords discount works? Halfords currently have a deal where you get £10 back for every £100 you spend. Does the BC membership give you an additional 10% on top of this?

I believe you need to spend both discounts instore...

im more concerned about it being a london thing and im er... clearly not living there
Sorry, I meant that when it was originally posted people were saying the insurance contract isn't affected by using the code and that you could use it no matter where you live/cycle, I don't live or cycle in London either btw  I was hoping someone else would confirm for sure though
