Is oral sex safe?

Didn't say it wasn't fun, but it really isn't good for lane discipline...
I didn't need to worry about lane discipline, the Armco Barriers do a great job of nudging you back to the carriageway provided you don't hit them at too sharp an angle.

BTW, didn't the late Teddy Pendergrass end up disabled after hitting a tree while being pleasured by a female passenger?

The thing that always astounds me is the lack of awareness about it. Technically it's safer to have penetrative sex with a condom than it is to have unprotected oral sex, yet few people I know use protection. Infact it's worse than that, some even think it's perfectly safe. I mean okay the risk of catching things like chlamydia through oral are low but there's still a risk.

For the record.

What infections can I catch through oral sex?

Oral sex is the stimulation of the genitals using the mouth and tongue. It is one of the ways that sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are most frequently passed on.
You can catch a STI if you have just one sexual partner, but the chance of catching an infection increases the more partners you have.

STIs that are commonly caught through oral sex are:

chlamydia
gonorrhoea
genital herpes
syphilis

Infections that are less frequently passed on through oral sex include:

HIV
hepatitis A, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C
genital warts
pubic lice

Symptoms of STIs

The symptoms of an STI vary depending on the type of infection. However, most STIs are treatable if detected early enough, so if you suspect that you may have an infection, it is important to visit your local family planning clinic, or genito-urinary medicine (GUM) clinic, as soon as possible.

If left untreated, STIs are not only uncomfortable and embarrassing, but they can seriously affect your health and fertility.
Preventing STIs

You can prevent catching STIs during oral sex by making sure that you, or your partner, wears a condom.
A dental dam is an alternative to using a condom. It is a piece of latex that can be fitted into the vagina, or anus, before you begin to have oral sex.

It's a bit more complicated than that...

It depends on what you're trying to guard against. Pregnancy via oral sex is, shall we say, unlikely.
You can prevent catching STIs during oral sex by making sure that you, or your partner, wears a condom.
Or by making sure you know that your partner isn't harbouring anything. That seems a better bet to me.

I think I can safely say that I would die of embarrassment if I had to ask the young lady in the chemist's for a " dental dam "

( ... or perhaps    )

If you perform it on yourself, its probably 100% safe provided your gifted or very flexible. It also leaves your hands free to use the keyboard on the PC or read a mag.

Actually most of the woman I know prefer it in there ear than the mouth, every time I try to get a BJ they automatically turn there head to the side.

They're probably just struggling to hear what you're saying due to their advanced age. ;-)
