Is Rhyl a toilet or what?

Well, is it?

Most British seaside towns are full of SS dossers and social dross. Our nearest is Blackpool where tons of money has been spent beautifying the seafront but one block back is shameful. A tsunami would be a merciful end for Blackpool but unfortunately all the dross would wash inland and up the Ribble valley where we go cycling, which would not be good.
Went to Blackpool on a cricket club tour 2 years ago.......never setting foot in the place again!!

Think of it as being at university ... and being here is like a short break at Butlins.
Ah, the university of life... populated by the socially inept yet political astute.

I don't know why you think it's OK to insult me, as we've never met - but at least I learned how to spell in the university of life.

You might be a tad over sensitive here.

The boundaries between specificity and generalisation can get blurred in black humour.

The good thing about toilets is that you can park a turd there for just as long as is necessary and then send it on its way out of town. The bad news is that the process repeats itself the next day. This, of course, has nothing to do with the subject in hand, but there again, you wouldn't really want it in hand, would you?

About 25-30 years ago we had two excellent family holidays in Rhyl, we paid a visit a few years ago and found the place had deteriorated noticeably since our holidays, our last couple of visits to the area have been to Llandudno.

Never been to Rhyl, but stayed in Porthmadoc a couple of years ago for a couple of nights...won't be hurrying back. Canarvon on the other hand...yes please...wish we had stayed there instead.

At least Rhyl has a railway station. And do take a little more care over the spelling of names, Linfy.
