Is there a safe and easy way to get my bicycle tires shiny?

My tires seem to be loosing thier shine since i bought the bike a few months ago.

NO, please don't! Keep them clean by all means but do not leave them soapy or use any kind of tyre dressing to 'restore' them, just don't.

I'll say it again, just in case you missed it, DO NOT put anything on your tyres.

I find the easiest way to keep your tires looking their best is to use other people's instead

This also works for shoes too

Mr Sheen on the side walls is good for removing brake dust stains after wet rides. No need to bother with disc brakes though.

A smear of grease on the discs prevents them going rusty.

A jet washer will get your tyres nice and clean.

I turn mine inside out when the shine goes off one side.

Keep the rims and frame really really dirty, along side them the tyres will look like new.
