Is there an rat living inside my frame?

I seriously suspect that there is some sort of rodent living inside my bike. When I ride, there is an odd squeaking noise. I also seem to be coming out with bites all the time as well. It was really hot and sunny the other day, so I thought I would for a ride. To test the theory first I left some cheese on the frame, and when I checked back two hours later the cheese was completely gone. Oddly enough, the was a sticky residue on the frame though. Don't know where that came from. So do people think that a rat could live inside a bike or not? I am on the verge of calling out pest control.

The only thing I can think of is it must have crawled up there during the manufacture process

Some of your components may be made of cheese, but unless the rodent has some allen keys or other tools to get the seat post off, I don't see how it could get into the frame. I think the RSPCA should be informed, there maybe a cruelty case to answer.

You may jest but a pal of mine used to keep his motorcycle helmet in the cupboard under the stairs. He put it on one day to ride to the shops and while riding had the feeling something was moving inside the helmet. Got to the shops, took it off and found a live mouse!

He rode an MZ with a sidecar. For some reason he removed the sidecar and the first trip he made, he stopped, dismounted and walked away.... only to hear a crash, looked back and there was the MZ lying on its side.

Well duh! It's obviously a rodent bike (as opposed to touring, hybrid, mountain, etc. ...).
