I have been thinking about what makes a good ride. I too have a burls with a carbon fork. Coming off a kaffenback it felt much better. However, the kaffenback had a steel fork and I suspect a good fork makes up for a lot. However, ti frames are just much easier to take care of as there is no paint (well usually no paint!)
