From our local news site in rural West Oxfordshire, this was reported at about 8:30 this morning so I don't think the Police are still at the scene ...

Update: Cyclist hurt in A415 smash
A CYCLIST suffered serious injuries following a collision with a car near Witney this morning.

Police are still at the scene of the crash on the A415, near the Aston Road junction in Ducklington, Witney, following the accident at 6.24am.
A Ford Mondeo car was in collision with the cyclist, who was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment, according to Thames Valley Police.
The road was closed between the Aston Road junction and the Ducklington Road roundabout while accident investigators worked at the scene. The road was expected to re-open this afternoon. Anyone who witnessed the crash or has any information should contact Pc Mott on 08458 505505.

  2. Must have been life threatening for them to close the road. Terrible.
