Rode in and got very wet, just charged the front lights up for the joy of riding home and my clothes have been in front of the big blower/heater so they are nice and toasty !.......oh and i've done that work thing which gets in the way of everything

I got drenched this morning. As I left it was very very light rain, but by the time I was up the road it fell down. No time to put on waterproofs! I did feel silly!!!

But I have lovely hot showers at work so it all turned out well in the end.

I took the loud bike in this morning. So although it was pouring down, I was enjoying my "considerable" investment in Goretex Armoured clothing......plus heated grips!

When I arrived at the office I was dry as a bone...but still took a hot shower to set myself up for the day:biggrin:.

If it helps... I just know I am gonna pay for all that decadence.... for the rest of this week!!;)

I had brilliant rides both in and out, got drenched and blown about but the wind was behind me both ways, or it felt like it was, I think sometimes the dark makes you feel like you are going faster and also cos I cant see the speedo I dont fixate on it, was lovely and clear on the way back.

+1 on that...don't know what it is, but I "feel" a lot quicker in the dark (ooer) too.

I don't think it's the lack of sight of the computer (although I do welcome the break from the constant reminder that I'm not doing 20mph!).

Calm nights, with less traffic no wind and a kind of "Twilight"...I positively zip along:biggrin:

I've been feeling that my ride is faster now, and looking at my computer I can see I often am, but I've put that down to the natural air conditioning of the colder weather. In the heat there's nothing really to cool you down, but when you really warm up on your journey and then a cold breeze hits you it feels like a sort of air conditioned recharge to me and makes me more comfortable to work harder again. That's just my opinion on it though.
