No, the rules say to keep it kinda realistic.

Those are made by a company called Marine Classics, based in Leeds but using the traditional Thames slipper launch design.

And I am hoping this will go some way to helping me develop patience - so to bring it back to the subject of the thread, sometimes a desire for a particular material thing is about more than the thing itself...

Nice. I would really like a sailing canoe. I have also looked at building a wooden one from plans but came to the conclusion that I will never have the time for it. Selway Fisher also have some nice looking open canoe plans on their site too.
