...but got all my cycling gear on, running 5 or so mins later than usual so keen to get on the bike quickly, drags the bike out the hut and the front tyre was totally flat I don't tend to get many punctures but when i do they are pretty much always slow overnight ones with no sign of going down the night before

I know and when i was already angry/running late aswell

I think i've had one actually cycling at the time in the last 3 or 4 years but quite a few 'overnight' ones

That's one of the reasons I like living close to work, it gives me flexibility in the length of my commute for when things go t1ts up or when I'm too Lazy to get up

I wish, 5 miles is a bit far to walk in 30 mins lol

When i get my roadie i will have the option of which bike to take so this shouldnt happen then

My old commute was just 3.2 miles (just too long to walk as I'm a lazy b'stard ) but I could take a longer route if I felt like it or the direct if I had a p'ture, etc, a spare bike is handy though

My current commute is only 1.75 miles and could be walked but I prefer to either spend the time in my bed or fix a problem with the bike (touch wood though the SS is still going well, however).

I hate taking the car for something I could easily cycle to, not just the costwise, but the fustration of being stuck in a jam, searching for a space, etc

Nothing worse especially when you have just spent the last 10 mins getting ready to go on the bike, might check the bike before i get fully dressed from now on

When I had the broken spoke and seized calliper the old Audax was called immediately into action.
