No probs with shipping.
I ordered it on the 5th August, and so that's almost a month - as others had said, they mark it as a gift, so there's no bother with paying extra at customs. (It's shipped from Hong Kong).

I do need to nip out and buy an adaptor tho, but there is some juice in the battery already. I gave myself a fright when I plugged it in! It really is BRIGHT
I'll post a pic when I've given it a go.

Cool...definitely worth the wait then! I guess I shy away from some sites because I'm just worried that it'll never get to me...but it seems like you've bagged yourself a great piece of kit! I posted recently about lights as going to be my first full winter commute (unless I wuss out...but gonna try not to!). If you get chance let me know how it performs over your next few rides as could probably do with a really decent light as about 5 miles of my commute is down unlit roads.

I commute three times a week, and all but 5 miles of my 32 miles is down country roads, unlit - the odd streetlamp in a village, so I'm looking forward to being able to see where I'm going.
I'll let you know how it does.

That's a bright light for not a lot of money. I was riding with somebody who had one last night and it's very impressive!

that looks like the magicshine...fantastic price, husband used his for the first time this year,. Cycling home with his mate who had just a cheap thing from Halfords they kept turning the magicshine off to compare! the magicshine won hands down at 900 lumens. Yours @ 1200 lumens.. well that sounds enough to light a stadium! review would be good, let us know I might get that one for that price.

I received mine a couple of weeks ago, it has a narrow spotlight beam. I have the mickey mouse magicshine light which is better for illuminating the road in front of me.

I wonder why that one is considerably cheaper than the nearly identical Magicshine branded light? The only difference I can see is the battery isn't the new sealed one with the lcd display for checking the remaining charge. Your's also looks to include a helmet/head mount which mine didn't.

I only had to wait about 1-2 weeks from ordering until mine arrived on the doorstep, ordered Sunday 24th July and came Friday 5th August so not bad really and it dodged the duty by being a gift and displaying an incorrect value

I had the same reservations. But now, ordering from the UK warehouse, just under a week from order to delivery is happy days for me.

On a related note, I've had stuff from CRC take longer.

Last couple of weeks. It seems to be on certain items at the moment. If you look at the description on some of the lights it says something like "Order item xxxxxxxx from our UK warehouse for delivery to Western European Countries"

I half expected it to be a drop ship from Honk Kong but the packaging was all about Royal Air Mail....
