The trails in my backyard have been ice since almost the start of winter. This is a big snow mobile region so any snow gets packed down pretty quick. Then the right weather conditions can make for icy riding conditions. So I've been pretty comfortable all winter riding on the grooved ice trails, that was until today. Whenever I was on the major trails where there are lots of grooved ice tracks I just couldn't get comfortable. I was riding way to defensive and not able to let it go. I guess you got to have one of those days once and a while, it was still great getting out for a ride.
